Northern Territory Police have charged a 26-year-old male for possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis.
Superintendent Neil Hayes said officers executed a search warrant at the man’s residence in Yulara yesterday.
“Police allegedly found 130 grams of cannabis packaged in individual clip seal bags, digital scales, fireworks and $1500 in cash,” he said.
The 26-year-old man was charged with:
- Possess cannabis - trafficable quantity
- Supply cannabis
The man was also issued an on the spot fine of $1272 for possessing fireworks outside the approved period.
He is due to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on 30 August 2016.
