Members from the Southern Tactical Investigations Squad have charged an 18-year-old male following a spate of unlawful entries in Alice Springs dating back to December 2010.

Detective Sergeant Lewis Chown said Police will allege the man also has outstanding warrants within the Cross Border jurisdiction and will be charged accordingly.

“The offender was allegedly involved in eight separate incidences of unlawful entry and stealing,” he said.

“Most recently the offender was involved in a string of incidences in Larapinta.”

He was located in Alice Springs where he was arrested and charged with:

• Unlawful entry (x4)
• Trespass (x4)
• Damage to property (x7)
• Stealing (x5)

 He was remanded in custody and will appear in Alice Springs Local Court today.
