Cross Border Team detectives arrested a Cross Border target in Alice Springs yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Andy Bedwell said the 21-year-old male was wanted in relation to an aggravated assault on a 21-year-old female in February.
“The man has allegedly been actively avoiding the Police in the Northern Territory and South Australia,” he said.
He was arrested in Alice Springs yesterday and charged with:
- Aggravated assault
- Armed with and offensive weapon (x2)
- Criminal damage
- South Australian bench warrants (x2)
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
