Call for information – Armed Robberies – Darwin – Update

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 17-year-old male in relation to a number of armed robberies around the Darwin area.

Superintendent Kris Evans said the male was arrested by the Territory Response Group at 7:00am today in the Anula area.

“The male is currently in custody and is expected to be interviewed later today.”

Police are continuing their investigations into yesterdays armed robberies and a number of property offences that occurred overnight.

In particular Police are calling for information in relation to three stolen motor vehicles, being;

  • A white Toyota Land Cruiser Station Wagon, registration: 791395
  • A grey Toyota Prado Station Wagon, registration: ARB-DWN
  • A black Mitsubishi Pajero, registration: CA76PY

Police urge members of the public to not approach the vehicles or their occupants, but to report all sightings to Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The firearm allegedly used in the armed robberies remains outstanding.
