Emergency Services attended a single motor vehicle crash on the Lasseter Highway yesterday morning.

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service from Yulara Station and Mutijulu Police members were alerted to the crash just after 7.00am, approximately 30kms west of Mount Ebenezer, by a passer-by.

NTFRS members assisted one 42-year-old male occupant from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life. The driver’s dog was also safely removed from the vehicle, and received only minor scratches.

The 42-year-old male was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
