Youths Charged - Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle - Rosebery

Northern Territory Police have charged three youths following a number of traffic offences that occurred in Palmerston yesterday.

The youths were arrested at a Bakewell service station for allegedly driving a stolen motor vehicle in a reckless manner throughout Palmerston.

A 15-year-old youth was charged with:

  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Assault police (x3)
  • Recklessly endanger serious harm
  • Unlawfully possess property (x2)
  • Resist police
  • Drive in manner dangerous (x2)
  • Unlicensed driving

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court on Monday 28 November 2016.

Two youths aged 12 and 13 were charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle and escape custody. They will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court today.
