Northern Territory Police have charged a 30-year-old man following a methamphetamine seizure in Alice Springs yesterday.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said members of the Southern Tactical Investigations Group apprehended a vehicle about 9:15am and seized 10.5 grams of methamphetamines.
“As a result of this seizure, they executed a warrant at the alleged offender’s residence, where they seized vials of testosterone, drug paraphernalia and equipment for a category ‘D’ clandestine laboratory,” Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Phillips said.
He was charged with:
- Possess methamphetamine - trafficable qty - public place
- Possess schedule 2 dangerous drug (Testosterone)
- Unauthorised possession of schedule 4 substance
- Possession of articles used in manufacture of dangerous drugs
- Administer dangerous drug to self.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
