Police are currently searching for 36-year-old Steven Nolan, who escaped from a prisoner day release work program with the Alice Springs Correctional Services today.

He was last sighted about 12:50pm at Blatherskite Park.

He is not considered a threat to the public, however police are urging people not to approach him, but instead report any sightings or suspicious activity to by calling 131 444 or by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
