Charges – Unlawful Entry – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged four males in relation to two unlawful entries.

Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the offenders allegedly broke into two premises on 12 December.

“The group allegedly stole a Toyota Landcruiser and more than $10,000 worth of tools and specialised equipment along with more than $300 cash,” he said.

Three adults were charged with:

  • Unlawful entry – dwelling (x2)
  • Unlawful entry – building (x2)
  • Damage property (x3)
  • Stealing (x3)
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle

They were all remanded in custody. Two men, aged 18 and 25, will appear in the Alice Springs Local Court this week. A 19-year-old male will appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on 21December.

A 14-year-old male was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry – dwelling (x2)
  • Unlawful entry – building (x2)
  • Damage property (x3)
  • Stealing (x3)
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle

He was eligible for youth diversion.
