Northern Territory Police have charged three men with cannabis supply offences following a series of search warrants at Dundee Downs and Millner yesterday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer from the Organised Crime Division said the warrants were issued following a $121,000 cash seizure at Darwin Airport on 21 November 2016.
“At the first warrant, detectives allegedly located 224g of cannabis and three semi-mature plants. A 46-year-old man will be interviewed at a later date,” he said.
“At the second, police allegedly located 1.5kg of cannabis, six unsecured firearms and $24,285 cash. Three men aged 70, 65 and 33 were arrested at the scene.”
“A third warrant in Millner uncovered $3000 cash.”
All three were charged with:
- Supply commercial quantity cannabis
- Possess tainted property
- Firearms offences
They were all remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court this morning.
