Northern Territory Police are investigating a death on the Stuart Highway, 5 kilometres north of Connors Well.

Police were alerted to the incident at 11:20am today. This section of the highway is currently closed and we ask everyone to avoid the area if possible.

At this stage the circumstances surrounding the death are unknown. Further information will be provided when available.
