Northern Territory Police have arrested an 18-year-old man for drug offences in Alice Springs.
Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the man was allegedly posting drugs to a freight distribution centre.
“Three separate packages addressed to the offender were located,” he said.
“One package, intercepted on 7 March contained a quantity of Methamphetamines.
“On 8 and 10 March, two packages were intercepted containing 50 MDMA tablets, 10 Dexamphetamine tables, 10mls of LSD and 10 tabs of LSD.
“The offender was arrested on Friday 10 February.”
He was charged with:
- Supply schedule one – LSD commercial quantity
- Supply schedule one – MDMA traffickable quantity
- Supply schedule one – Methamphetamine
- Supply schedule eight poison – Dexamphetamine
- Possess cannabis
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
