Charges – Obtain Benefit by Deception – Darwin

A 45-year-old Darwin woman has been charged with one count of obtain a benefit by deception to the value of $111,490.72.

Detective Senior Sergeant Justin Bentley said that this was part of an ongoing investigation by Major Fraud into allegations of fraud against the Northern Territory Government’s Pensioner and Carer Concession Scheme.

The matter has been listed for its first mention at the Local Court, Darwin on Wednesday 13 April 2017.
