Call for information - Robbery - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Darwin last night.

Detective Sergeant Matt Allen from Major Crime Squad said the incident occurred around 10:10pm Saturday night.

“Two males aged between 12 and 15, approached two females at the Darwin Waterfront and allegedly threatened them with a knife,” he said.

“They stole a grey iPhone.”

One of the offenders is described as Caucasian, wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, with dark brown shoulder length hair and had a black scarf / bandana, which was tied up at the back of his neck. This male was not wearing any footwear.

The second offender is described as Caucasian, wearing a grey T-shirt, multi coloured shorts, with short light brown hair and also had a scarf / bandana around his neck which he was pulling up over the bottom half of his face.  

We ask anyone who may be able to assist in the identification of these two offenders or may have witnessed the event to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
