Northern Territory Police are calling for information following the theft of two firearms from a home in Bakewell yesterday.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan from Strike Force Trident said the home was allegedly unlawfully entered some time during the day.

Items stolen include a Remington 22.250 bolt-action rifle, a Beretta 12-guarge over-under shotgun, a quantity of cash and a laptop.

“We do not believe any ammunitions were stolen during the theft, but any theft of firearms is concerning,” Senior Sergeant Jordan said.
