Northern Territory Police have charged a 32-year-old man for drug offences in Alice Springs.
Detective Superintendent Peter Dash said acting on information, police executed a search warrant at a Sadadeen residence yesterday.
“A total of 1.8 grams of LSD was seized, which equates to 18 times the commercial quantity.
“A small amount of cannabis was also seized along with other drug paraphernalia and three prohibited weapons.
He was charged with:
- Supply commercial quantity schedule 1 dangerous drug (x2)
- Possess commercial quantity schedule 1 dangerous drug (x2)
- Possess less than traffickable quantity cannabis (x2)
- Possess thing to administer drug
- Unlawfully possess schedule 8 substance
- Possess prohibited weapon (x2)
- Possess controlled weapon
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
