Northern Territory Police have charged a 22-year-old man following a domestic incident in a town camp in Alice Springs.

Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Milner said the 22-year-old female victim suffered head injuries in the incident, and was treated at Alice Springs Hospital.

The offender was arrested early this morning.

He was charged with:

• Assault a female – offender a male
• Fail to comply with order

He will appear in the Alice Spring Local Court today.
