Northern Territory Police are calling for information following an unlawful entry in Muirhead overnight.

Sergeant Kaye Pemberton from Strike Force Trident said a group of unknown offenders unlawfully entered the house, stealing a handbag and a silver Ford Focus hatch.

The group also attempted to enter two other homes in the same street.
