Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance to locate a man who absconded from a work camp in Tennant Creek last night.

Ricky Douglas, aged 28, is described as being of Indigenous appearance, 178 cm tall and of slight build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with blue shorts.

Whilst Mr Douglas is not considered dangerous, the public is asked not to approach him and instead contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
