Northern Territory Police have charged a 49-year-old man following an assault in Elliott.

Senior Sergeant Don Eaton said the man was arrested yesterday afternoon.

“It is alleged the offender assaulted a 45-year-old woman on 2 September,” he said.

“She was airlifted to the Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.”

The man was charged with cause serious harm and is due to appear in the Elliott Local Court on 15 November, 2017.
