Call for Information – Assault – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for information about an assault in Alice Springs on Wednesday 11 October.

Senior Constable Scott Pearson said the incident occurred about 7:45pm.

“Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen a red Holden Commodore driven erratically on the Stuart Highway near Wills Terrace and then coming to a stop on the footpath near the service station on the highway,” he said.

“A man and a woman left the vehicle, and the man has allegedly assaulted the woman in the service station carpark.

“The male is described as approximately 30 years old, of indigenous appearance, medium build, about 175cm tall and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark long pants. 

“The female is described as aged in her mid-20s, of indigenous appearance, medium build, about 155cm tall and was wearing shorts and a grey coloured t-shirt.”
