Police are requesting public assistance to locate a male who escaped lawful custody from the Barkly Work Camp in Tennant Creek.

Ezekiel Shannon was last seen at 8:30am this morning and is still believed to be in the Tennant Creek area.

Mr Shannon is described as of Aboriginal appearance, 24years of age, 178cm tall, 70kg, slight build, with black wavy hair and believed to be wearing blue/grey jeans and a dark coloured T-shirt.

Anyone with information is urged to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
