The Northern Territory road toll has risen to five after the death of a 34-year-old motorcyclist at Marlow Lagoon yesterday.

Two males were riding motorbikes in bushland near the Elizabeth River Bridge at around 3pm.

One of the riders was fatally injured after hitting a tree.

He was declared dead at the scene by emergency services.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
