Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian at Mataranka last night.

The incident occurred on the Stuart Highway around 9pm, when a 29-year-old woman was hit by a road train.  

Anyone with information is urged to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 to assist police with their enquiries.
