Northern Territory Police have arrested a 65-year-old man in relation to alleged historic interstate child sex offences, today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the man, who is wanted on a warrant by Queensland Police Service, was arrested by members of the Cross Border Team in Erldunda this morning.

Queensland Police Service are expected to travel to the Northern Territory to extradite the man to Queensland next week.
