Northern Territory Police have arrested a 24-year-old male following a vehicle crash.
Police observed a car that was alleged to have been travelling at speed around 5:30 this morning.
Police activated their lights and sirens and signalled at the driver to stop.
Police say the driver failed to slow down and took a corner at speed. As a result, the vehicle mounted a median strip and rolled onto its side.
Police assisted the driver out of the vehicle and arrested him at the scene. He was conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 24-year-old male has been issued with a notice to appear for:
- Exceed speed in speed zone
- Fail to comply police officers direction
- Drive at speed and dangerous manner
The Major Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
