Northern Territory Police are investigating the death, overnight, of a woman at an Alice Springs town camp. Police are treating her death as suspicious.

A male suspect has been arrested and is in police custody. Major Crime Detectives are travelling to Alice Springs today to assist with investigations.

Police are calling for further witnesses and ask anyone with information to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
