Northern Territory Police are searching for Brett Gregory Norris who has absconded from a minimum security section of the Darwin Correctional Centre at Howard Springs.

The 30-year-old man appears to have left the facility around 8:00pm.  

Norris was last seen wearing his prison attire which consists of a yellow t-shirt, grey or blue shorts and thongs.

He has a number of connections in the Darwin and Palmerston areas.

Members of the public are advised not to approach Norris, but to report sightings of him immediately.
