The front counter of Peter McAulay Centre will close temporarily for refurbishment works from Saturday, 2 June to Monday, 11 June 2018.

“The scheduled upgrades will strengthen security for both Police and the public and will include technical advancements aimed at delivering improved and more streamlined service for the public,” the Darwin Metropolitan Support Division’s Superintendent Craig Barrett said.

“During the refurbishment, all other Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Service areas will operate as normal. There will be no interruption to normal Police activities in the region.

“An intercom system is available for urgent Police Assistance at the Peter McAulay Centre front door entry,” Superintendent Barrett said.

“If you require Police assistance, the intercom system will put you in touch with the Communication Centre, which is staffed 24/7.”

For members of the public who require front counter assistance, the Casuarina and Palmerston Police Station Front Counters will be open as normal from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and 8.00am to 4.00pm on the weekends.  The Darwin Police Station will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

“As always, in an emergency situation call 000.”
