A 25-year-old male who allegedly threatened two people with a loaded firearm before stealing their vehicle on Friday has been charged by police.

Over the weekend, the male was charged with:

• Aggravated robbery
• Possession of a prohibited firearm
• Possession of a firearm unlicensed
• Driving a vehicle in a dangerous manner (pursuit)
• Going armed in public

He will appear in the Darwin Local Court today.
