Call for public assistance - Alice Springs

Police are calling for public assistance in relation to an incident in which a pedestrian was hospitalised after being struck by a vehicle on Ilparpa Road earlier this month.

It is alleged at around 6:50pm on Monday, June 4 the woman was walking on Ilparpa Road near a level crossing when she was struck by a light-coloured ute.

The woman fell to the ground sustaining injuries and the driver of the vehicle continued driving.

As a result of being struck by the vehicle, the woman required medical treatment at the Alice Springs Hospital for a broken arm.

Police would like to speak to the driver in the vehicle involved in the incident.
