Police and fire crews attended a three car crash on Dick Ward Drive at approximately 2.00pm yesterday afternoon.

Two of the vehicles involved had a head on crash causing the road to be blocked for some time.

Police would like to thank the members of the public for their patience whilst persons involved in the crash were seen to by medical staff and the debris could be safely removed from the road.

Police are happy to report that all the occupants in the vehicles had seat belts on and the children involved were all in approved child restraints. This surely contributed to minimising the injuries involved.
