Police are investigating an incident in which a motorbike was set alight in Alice Springs early this morning.

Just before 6am Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Services and Alice Springs Police responded to a report of a fire at a business on the North Stuart Highway.

Firefighters located and extinguished the burning motorbike. There was also some fire damage to a demountable during the incident.

No one was injured during the incident.
