A 31-year-old female has been issued a Notice to Appear following the execution of a search warrant at her Darwin residence yesterday.

Investigators from Strike Force Trident arrived at the property to search for drugs and discovered the person of interest suspiciously flushing the toilet numerous times. After forcing entry to the residence, a drug detection dog located methamphetamine and cannabis in the female’s bedroom.

Numerous items of recently stolen property were also located.

The female was issued with a Notice to Appear for:

• Possess traffickable quantity Schedule 1 dangerous drug
• Possess less than traffickable quantity Schedule 2 dangerous drug
• Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
• Possess stolen property
