Arrests – Supply Methamphetamine – Darwin

Police

Members of the Drug and Organised Crime Section have arrested three people in relation to possessing and supplying methamphetamine (ice) in the Darwin area.

Two males, aged 37 and 50, and a 50-year-old female were taken into custody yesterday following police raids on residences in Stuart Park and Jingili.

Police seized a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine, glass smoking implements, over $64,000 in cash and a 2017 Ford Mustang GT.

The 50-year-old male was charged with:

  • Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - less than trafficable - in a public place;
  • Possess thing to administer dangerous drug; and
  • Possess prohibited weapon.

The 37-year-old male was charged with:

  • Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - less than trafficable - in a public place;
  • Possess thing to administer dangerous drug; and
  • Possess prohibited weapon.

The 50-year-old female was charged with:

  • Supply schedule 1 dangerous drug - Less than commercial quantity;
  • Supply schedule 2 dangerous drug - Less than commercial quantity;
  • Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - Trafficable quantity;
  • Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - Less than trafficable - Public Place;
  • 2x Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - Less than trafficable quantity;
  • Possess schedule 2 dangerous drug - Trafficable quantity; and
  • Possess thing to administer dangerous drug.

The arrested trio are expected to appear in the Darwin Local Court this morning.

A 38-year-old female was given a notice to appear for drug possession offences.
