Daly River members have charged a 36-year-old male with driving offences.
On the evening of Friday 31 August, police received reports of a vehicle driving unusually slow and weaving all over the road.
Police apprehended the driver approximately 20 kilometres outside of Daly River on Daly River Road. In addition to returning a breath analysis of 0.081 he was also driving unlicensed in an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
It was the second time the male was caught drink-driving that day.
The male was apprehended in the same car around 1:30 pm on Stuart Highway just outside Adelaide River. At the time he returned a breath analysis of 0.128.
He has been charged with:
- 2 x mid-range drink driving
- 2 x drive unlicensed
- 2 x drive unregistered
- 2 x drive uninsured
The male was bailed and is due to appear before the Wadeye Local Court on 13 September.
