Northern Territory Police have concluded a five day operation targeting Outlaw Motor Cycle Gangs.
The Drug and Organised Crime Division Gangs Taskforce, Territory Response Group and Dog Operations Unit carried out the operation from 12 – 16 September. It encompassed National Taskforce Operation Morpheus, which is a National Anti-Gangs Squad initiative.
During the operation, police seized three firearms during a search warrant at a residence in Zuccoli. A 27-year-old male and a 25-year-old female were issued with notices to appear for firearms and minor drug offences.
A 29-year-old male was issued with a notice to appear for failing to supply his driver’s licence following a search of his vehicle.
Another male, aged 45, was arrested for drug driving and driving unlicensed following a traffic apprehension. He was issued with a notice to appear.
A 38-year-old female also had her vehicle searched and seized, and was arrested for drug supply and possession.

- 4 arrests (one warrant, two drug driving, one outstanding fraud matter)
- 6 negative drug tests

- 30 vehicle registration checks
- 30 drivers licence checks

- 21 licenced premises checks
Police seized the following items:
- 4.2 grams methamphetamine
- $2125 cash
- 2007 Toyota Camry
- 3 firearms
- 3 glass ice pipes
Two firearms inspections were conducted and three Australian Taxation Office documents were served.
The Officer in Charge of Drugs and Organised Crime, Detective Senior Sergeant Karen Sanderson, said the Gangs Taskforce would continue to target OMCG members and associates to disrupt and prevent their criminal activity.
“Their behaviour will not be tolerated by the Northern Territory Community,” she said.
