During the evening of 19 September a delivery truck parked in Nauiyu Community was broken into and approximately $9000 worth of alcohol and tobacco was stolen.

Working with the community, police were able to identify a number of suspects. As a result two males, aged 16 and 17, made admissions of involvement in the theft and will be referred to the Youth Diversion Unit.

A small amount of the property has been recovered and investigations are continuing.
