Northern Territory Police are investigating after reports of multiple fatalities in a single vehicle rollover just off the Kakadu Highway last night.

Police received a report at around 8:15am this morning about the incident which occurred around 80 kilometres from Pine Creek.

Two men and a woman died at the scene and another woman died on the way to hospital.

A 49-year-old woman is being treated for her injuries.

Major Crash Investigators are preparing a report for the coroner.

They’re appealing for anyone who may have information about the crash or witnessed a silver Nissan X-Trail travelling along the Kakadu Highway after 9:00pm on Thursday to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
