Northern Territory Detectives arrested a 23-year-old male and 29-year-old male in separate incidents yesterday.

The 29-year-old was allegedly in possession of a commercial quantity of methamphetamine while the 23-year-old was allegedly in possession of a commercial quantity of MDMA (ecstasy).

The 29-year-old male was charged with:

  • Supply commercial quantity schedule one dangerous drug
  • Possess commercial quantity schedule one dangerous drug
  • Possess schedule one dangerous drug in public place
  • Possess schedule two dangerous drug in public place
  • 2 x unauthorised possession schedule 4 dangerous drug

The 23-year-old male was charged with:

  • Possess commercial quantity schedule 1 dangerous dug

They were both refused bail and are due to appear in Darwin Local Court this morning.

Detective Acting Sergeant Tim Gardiner from the Joint Organised Crime Taskforce encourages members of the public to continue contacting Crime Stoppers as part of the ‘Dob in a Dealer’ campaign.
