Members from the Northern Territory Police Sex Crimes Unit, with assistance from New Zealand Police, have extradited a 43-year-old male from New Zealand for historic sexual offences.
It is alleged that in Darwin between 1998 and 2000 two females were assaulted, one of whom was a child at the time of offending.
He has been charged with;
- Sexual intercourse without consent
- Aggravated assault
- Indecent dealing with a child under 16 years
- Gross indecency with a child under 16 years
The male is expected to arrive in Darwin this afternoon and will be remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court tomorrow.
