Officers from the Serious Crime Squad have charged a 44-year-old man in relation to attempted arson.

He was arrested on 12 December at the Fannie Bay residence after allegedly setting it on fire.

He was charged with:

• Engage in conduct that contravenes DVO
• Engage in conduct that contravenes DVO
• Unlawful Entry - Dwelling            
• Attempt arson                         
• Trespass on premises                 
• Assault a member of the Police Force

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
