Charges – Supply Drugs – Livingstone

Police

Strike Force Trident members have charged a 49-year-old male with drug offences following a search warrant at a Livingstone address on 9 January.

During the search police located 39.25 grams of methamphetamine, 157.81 grams of cannabis, a drug ledger, $13,300 cash, a firearm suppressor, a live juvenile crocodile and a live carpet python. Police also located a series of instructions detailing how to manufacture methamphetamine and a glass cookware kit.

The man was charged with:
- Supply commercial amount of a schedule 1 dangerous drug
- Supply less than commercial amount of a schedule 1 dangerous drug
- Supply less than commercial amount of a schedule 2 dangerous drug
- Possess trafficable amount of a schedule 1 dangerous drug
- Possess trafficable amount of a schedule 2 dangerous drug
- Possess tainted property
- Possess instructions & drug manufacture equipment
- Possess silencer
- Possess ammunition without permit

He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
