Sell liquor without a license - Alice Springs

Police

A 54-year-old man will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court after he was found to be selling alcohol from his residence in East Side.

On June 27 the man was observed purchasing two one litre bottles of spirits before allegedly on-selling the alcohol to a group of people from an East Side home.

Members of the Alcohol Policing Unit interviewed the group of people who confirmed they had purchased the alcohol from the man at the property.

The alcohol was seized and the man was issued with a Notice To Appear on one count of Sell Liquor without a licence. He is scheduled to appear before court on August 7, 2019.
