The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested six male youth offenders after they attended an address in Alice Springs earlier today armed with weapons.

At 1am this morning, a Holden Commodore was reported stolen from an address in Araluen. The vehicle was reportedly sighted driving dangerously in Alice Springs this afternoon.

At 3:10pm, it is alleged the vehicle attended Charles Creek town camp and a group of youths, some armed with edged weapons and wearing balaclavas, exited the vehicle and confronted another group believed to be known to them.

Police attended and the offenders fled the scene in the Holden Commodore, travelling south of The Gap along the Stuart Highway.

Multiple police units responded and located the vehicle in bushland near Indarpa Camp.

General duties and Strike Force Viper members arrested 6 male youths aged 14, 14, 15, 15, 15 and 16 years.

The vehicle has been seized by police.
