Northern Territory Police are calling for information following an aggravated burglary at a residence in Millner yesterday.

It is alleged that between about 11:15am and 11:30am, a man armed with a knife entered a residence on Francis Street, threatened and assaulted the occupant, and stole a quantity of cash and food before leaving the scene.

Crime investigators attended and conducted enquiries; however, the man was not located.

The man is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged between 40 and 50 years, with greying, receding hair and white stubble. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, light blue jeans and black gardening gloves. He was barefoot and had a rubber wristband around one ankle.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Francis Street area around the time of the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or other footage, to contact police on 131 444.
