The Northern Territory Police Force are calling for information after a 17-year-old prisoner absconded from the Holtze Youth Detention Centre yesterday.

Around 6:45pm, police received report from the Department of Corrections that the youth had absconded from the facility on foot.

General duties, Dog Operations and Drone Units deployed to the area, however, the youth is yet to be located.
