The Northern Territory Police Force has charged a 32 year-old-man with murder following a domestic violence assault in Palmerston earlier this week.

Detectives from Major Crime charged the man earlier today with one count of Murder and one count of Breach Domestic Violence Order.

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court tomorrow.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
