A member of the Northern Territory Police Force has been served a Notice to Appear in relation to a fraud matter that occurred in September 2024.

The 27-year-old Senior Police Auxiliary is scheduled to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 18 February 2025 on a single charge of Misleading information contrary to section 49 of the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1996.

The member is currently on leave with pay.
