A 34-year-old male police officer has been charged with three counts of distributing an intimate image without consent on 17 December 2025.

As a result of this incident, the officer has been suspended from duty with pay and is scheduled to appear before the Darwin Local Court on 20 January 2026. 

The matter remains under investigation. Due to the case being before the courts, no additional information will be provided at this time.
